This a pile of stuff , a midden really (soil,bits of concrete,wood and now cement and re-enforcing steel) in my neighbourhood that I have been driving past for at least 15 years. It is growing in size but at such a slow rate. What I find interesting about it is the care that is taken in containing the material. It serves no purpose other than being a place to store unwanted yard waste. Or perhaps it is a "bollard" to prevent vehicles from crashing into the carport behind it. Lately there has been some carefully added cement. I wonder how tall it will get?

omg that's so right! i remember even as a little kid, looking out the window once we drive down the lane...it's something that's always been in my life but ive never fully noticed..very interesting bups! xx
